To promote the benefit of advancement of education; the protection of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress; the provision of facilities and interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the Chinese community of Southampton and surrounding area; without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions.
