\u670d\u52d9\u627f\u8afe <\/span>\uff08\u8aaa\u660e\u60a8\u70ba\u4f55\u5e0c\u671b\u52a0\u2f0a\u57f7\u59d4\u6703\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u60a8\u80fd\u70ba\u57f7\u59d4\u6703\u5e36\u4f86\u7684\u8ca2\u737b\u3002\uff09<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been actively involved with CAS since 2017, serving as a committee member for eight years\u2014first as Treasurer, and later elected Vice Chair in 2021. Over the years, I\u2019ve thoroughly enjoyed contributing to CAS by helping organize the weekly Wednesday lunch club, teaching dance classes, and coordinating a wide range of social and cultural events that celebrate Chinese heritage. As a Chartered Accountant, I\u2019ve also played a key role in strengthening CAS\u2019s financial position. Since joining, I\u2019ve successfully secured vital grants and helped increase our financial reserves by 40% – from \u00a324K a few years ago to a healthy \u00a333K today. I\u2019m proud to have contributed to raising CAS\u2019s profile and making a meaningful impact in our local community. I am proud of the progress we have made and remain full committed to advancing our mission with teamwork, clear vision, and mutual respect.With continued collaboration and commitment, I believe we can build on this momentum and achieve even greater success together.<\/p>\n

Professionally, I am a Certified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in corporate roles. I currently work four days a week as a Senior Accounts Manager at an accountancy firm, dedicating every Wednesday to supporting and helping run the Chinese Association. Beyond my professional responsibilities, I actively maintain strong ties with other community groups, the local council, the Chinese school, and various partner organisations, helping to foster collaboration and mutual support.<\/p>\n

I have organised numerous events representing the Chinese community, helping to promote Chinese culture and heritage. One of my key strengths lies in event organisation and grant application writing.
\nOver the years, I have successfully secured various grants and funding for CAS, contributing to its strong financial position. I have helped bringing in valuable opportunities to CAS members like health and well-being related projects, and the Chinese painting exhibition. These initiatives have greatly enhanced CAS\u2019s visibility and reputation within the local community.<\/p>\n
