The Chinese Association of Southampton (CAS) celebrated the Christmas on Tuesday 20\/12\/22 and Wednesday 21\/12\/22.<\/p>\n

\u5357\u5b89\u666e\u6566\u83ef\u4eba\u5354\u6703 (\u5357\u83ef\u5354) \u65bc 2022 \u5e74 12 \u6708 20 \u65e5\u661f\u671f\u4e8c\u548c 12 \u6708 21 \u65e5\u661f\u671f\u4e09\u6176\u795d\u8056\u8a95\u7bc0\u3002<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

On Tuesday 20\/12, we have had a nice Christmas lunch at The White Swan restaurant in Southampton. After a quick welcome by the chair and vice-chair of CAS, we kicked off with a nice starter.<\/p>\n

2022 \u5e74 12 \u6708 20 \u65e5\u661f\u671f\u4e8c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5728\u5357\u5b89\u666e\u6566\u7684\u767d\u5929\u9d5d\u9910\u5ef3\u4eab\u7528\u4e86\u4e00\u9813\u8c50\u76db\u7684\u8056\u8a95\u5348\u9910\u3002<\/span><\/span> \u5728 \u5357\u83ef\u5354 \u4e3b\u5e2d\u548c\u526f\u4e3b\u5e2d\u7684\u6b61\u8fce\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u4ee5\u4e00\u500b\u4e0d\u932f\u7684\u958b\u80c3\u83dc<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u62c9\u958b\u4e86\u5e8f\u5e55\u3002<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then, our singing class teacher Jean Romsey led a Christmas Carol singing session before the main meal.<\/p>\n

During the meal, we have a few rounds of Raffle draws. Congratulations to the lucky ones who won various prizes.<\/p>\n

Thanks to our Committee members and volunteer helpers for wrapping the prizes, organizing the event, taking the photos and be the Santa Claus.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday 21\/12, we have a Christmas Coffee Morning celebration at a local church.<\/p>\n

12 \u6708 21 \u65e5\u661f\u671f\u4e09\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5728\u672c\u5730\u4e00\u9593\u6559\u5802\u8209\u884c\u4e86\u8056\u8a95\u65e9\u6668\u5496\u5561\u6176\u795d\u3002<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The leaders of CAS and of the church gave welcome speeches to all participants.<\/p>\n

\u5357\u83ef\u5354\u548c\u6559\u6703\u7684\u9818\u5c0e\u5411\u6240\u6709\u51fa\u5e2d\u8005\u81f4\u6b61\u8fce\u8a5e\u3002<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our programme starts with Chinese music and Christmas music using the Chinese Guzheng instrument and the steel-tongue drum.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u6211\u5011\u7684\u7bc0\u76ee\u4ee5\u53e4\u7b8f\u548c\u7a7a\u9748\u9f13\u6f14\u51fa\u7684\u4e2d\u570b\u97f3\u6a02\u548c\u8056\u8a95\u97f3\u6a02\u958b\u59cb\u3002<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We enjoyed listening to these nice musics, performed by wonderful members of CAS.<\/p>\n

After the musics, we sang Christmas Carol songs together, led by our singing class teacher Jean Romsey.<\/p>\n

Then a Taichi sequence and a Chinese dance were performed by CAS. The audience enjoyed the Chinese cultural performance very much.<\/p>\n
