We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Lord Mayor of Southampton, Cllr Jacqui Rayment, for attending the official launch of our project at Cantell School Gym today.<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u5011\u5f88\u9ad8\u8208\u5ba3\u5e03\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9752\u5e74\u8a08\u5283\u5df2\u65bc2023\u5e743\u6708\u81f32024\u5e743\u6708\u555f\u52d5\u3002\u975e\u5e38\u611f\u8b1d\u5357\u5b89\u666e\u6566\u5e02\u5e02\u9577Jacqui Rayment\u5973\u58eb\u4eca\u5929\u849e\u81e8\u574e\u7279\u723e\u5b78\u6821\u9ad4\u80b2\u9928\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u7684\u9752\u5e74\u8a08\u5283\u6b63\u5f0f\u63ed\u5e55\u3002<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set?set=oa.510611627928410\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"shrinkToFit\" src=\"https:\/\/www.southamptonchinese.org.uk\/album\/2023\/0311_Youth_Project\/Youth2023.jpg\" alt=\"https:\/\/www.southamptonchinese.org.uk\/album\/2023\/0311_Youth_Project\/Youth2023.jpg\" width=\"1536\" height=\"464\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The event was a great success, with approximately 100 attendees joining us for the launch. Special thanks to Chiew for playing the Steel-tongue drum, Michael for playing the Chinese drum, and Vikkie and Joylin for their beautiful Chinese dance performances. Juntao impressed us all with his Nunchucks kungfu, while Jackson wowed the audience with his Yoyo skills. Our young participant, Adam, also impressed everyone by solving a Rubik&#8217;s cube shuffled by the Lord Mayor in just 35 seconds! We also had Mr. Meng and Mr. Zai introducing the Go game and Chinese calligraphy to us.<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u5011\u8981\u5411\u8868\u6f14\u8005\u548c\u5e6b\u624b\u5011\u8868\u9054\u8aa0\u646f\u7684\u611f\u8b1d\uff0c\u611f\u8b1d\u4ed6\u5011\u5c0d\u6d3b\u52d5\u7684\u8ca2\u737b\u3002\u7279\u5225\u611f\u8b1dChiew\u6f14\u594f\u92fc\u9f13\u3001Michael\u6f14\u594f\u4e2d\u570b\u9f13\u3001\u4ee5\u53caVikkie\u548cJoylin\u7684\u7f8e\u9e97\u4e2d\u570b\u821e\u8e48\u8868\u6f14\u3002Juntao\u7684\u96d9\u7bc0\u68cd\u529f\u592b\u4e5f\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u5370\u8c61\u6df1\u523b\uff0cJackson\u7684\u6e9c\u6e9c\u7403\u6280\u5de7\u66f4\u662f\u4ee4\u89c0\u773e\u5927\u958b\u773c\u754c\u3002\u6211\u5011\u7684\u5c0f\u670b\u53cbAdam\u572835\u79d2\u5167\u89e3\u958b\u4e86\u5e02\u9577\u6d17\u724c\u904e\u7684\u9b54\u65b9\uff0c\u5be6\u5728\u662f\u4ee4\u4eba\u9a5a\u5606\uff01\u6b64\u5916\uff0cMeng\u5148\u751f\u548cZai\u5148\u751f\u4e5f\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u4ecb\u7d39\u4e86\u570d\u68cb\u548c\u4e2d\u570b\u66f8\u6cd5\u3002<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Youth Project Launched\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i60oRDHaLZU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Registration for our Youth Project classes will be available soon on our website.
