The Youth Project of the Chinese Association of Southampton (CAS) is funded by the Southampton City Council’s Safer Neighbourhoods Fund.

The Youth Outreach and Engagement stream of this fund aims to ensure that the youth of our city get a good start in life. It does this by supporting projects and initiatives, which support young people and reduce the incidence and opportunity for anti-social behaviour. We hope to create a positive space with opportunities for our youth to develop and learn new skills and improve their wellbeing.

CAS Youth Project aims to help our youth to improve their physical health through learning Kungfu and dancing exercises; along with improving their mental strength and learning of new skills though games, scientific toys and music.

Our Youth Project will be officially launched on Saturday 11 March 2023 at 3:15pm at Cantell School Gym. In this launch we will introduce the various activities that we will offer from March 2023 to March 2024. Participants will have a taste of some of these activities during the launch. More specifically, we will have a series of weekend sessions involving the following:
