I will miss you, Lam suk (Uncle). You are many people’s great friends from among the wide Chinese diaspora.
Lam suk, you were also a great colleague since CAS’s formative years. At CNYs, you bravely fundraised for CAS’s vital running costs from among your former business connections when many still doubted us as a new community group.
Lam suk, you tirelessly and skilfully cooked for the newly formed weekly luncheon club which helped members to build friendships /support around each other to overcome isolation. This club became the basis for CAS members to bond and for it to grow and flourish.
We now remember you with great fondness.
    Elly Wong
