南安華人協會於6月24日參加了難民周活動，展現了精彩的演出。演出中包括了蕭和空靈鼓的合奏《美麗的神話》，笛子、空靈鼓和古箏的演奏《鴻雁》，笛子獨奏《梁祝化蝶》，以及古箏和手鼓共同演奏的瑤族舞曲，還有太極功夫扇的表演。
首先是蕭和空靈鼓的合奏《美麗的神話》，音符在空氣中回蕩，猶如一幅美麗的畫卷展開，讓人陶醉其中。樂器的合奏和諧有力，展現出華夏文化的獨特魅力。
接著是笛子、空靈鼓和古箏的演奏《鴻雁》，音樂中流淌著鴻雁南飛的畫面，給人一種寧靜與自由的感覺。笛子的悠揚聲音和古箏的清脆音色相互交織，與空靈鼓的節奏相得益彰，令人心曠神怡。
緊隨其後的是笛子獨奏《梁祝化蝶》，笛聲如蝶翩翩起舞，將梁祝的愛情故事娓娓道來。音樂中蘊含著對美好愛情的追求和嚮往，令人感嘆梁山伯與祝英台的深情厚意。
之後是古箏和手鼓共同演奏的瑤族舞曲，音樂節奏明快歡快，猶如置身於瑤族的節日慶典之中。古箏的悅耳琴音和手鼓的有力韻律相互呼應，帶給觀眾一種愉悅的享受。
最後，華人協會還帶來了太極功夫扇的精彩表演。扇舞舒展如雲，獨特的太極動作與扇的韻律相得益彰，展示了華夏文化中的力量與柔美。

The Chinese Association of Southampton participated in the Refugee Week event on June 24th with a captivating performance. The repertoire included the enchanting ensemble of Xiao and ethereal drums performing the “Beautiful Legend”, a piece featuring the flute, ethereal drums and guzheng called “Wild Geese”, a solo flute performance of “Butterflies Transforming from Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai”, a Yao ethnic music by guzheng and hand drum and a Tai Chi Kung Fu fan demonstration.
Firstly, the ensemble of Xiao and ethereal drums performing “Beautiful Legend” created a mesmerizing atmosphere as the notes resonated through the air, unfolding like a beautiful painting. The harmonious and powerful combination of instruments showcased the unique charm of Chinese culture.
Next was the performance of “Wild Geese” featuring the flute, ethereal drums and guzheng. The music conveyed a serene and liberating sensation, evoking imagery of geese flying southward. The melodic flute and crisp tones of the guzheng intertwined harmoniously with the rhythmic accompaniment of the ethereal drums, providing a delightful and uplifting experience.
Following that was the solo flute performance of “Butterflies Transforming from Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai”. The flute melodies danced gracefully, narrating the touching love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. The music expressed a longing and pursuit of beautiful love, leaving the audience in awe of their deep affection.
Subsequently, the performance showcased a Yao ethnic dance accompanied by the guzheng and hand drums. The music had a lively and joyful rhythm, immersing the audience in the festive celebration of the Yao culture. The delightful sound of the guzheng blended with the energetic beats of the hand drums, offering a pleasurable experience for all.
Lastly, the Chinese Association presented a spectacular demonstration of Tai Chi Kung Fu fan techniques. The fan movements flowed gracefully like clouds, complementing the unique rhythm of Tai Chi. This performance showcased the strength and elegance of Chinese culture.
The performance by the Chinese Association of Southampton allowed the audience to experience the profoundness of Chinese culture up close and personal, while demonstrating the talent and unity of its members. Through music and Tai Chi, they transcended language and cultural barriers, adding a vibrant touch to the Refugee Week event.
