I have been actively involved with CAS since 2017, serving as a committee member for eight years—first as Treasurer, and later elected Vice Chair in 2021. Over the years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed contributing to CAS by helping organize the weekly Wednesday lunch club, teaching dance classes, and coordinating a wide range of social and cultural events that celebrate Chinese heritage. As a Chartered Accountant, I’ve also played a key role in strengthening CAS’s financial position. Since joining, I’ve successfully secured vital grants and helped increase our financial reserves by 40% – from £24K a few years ago to a healthy £33K today. I’m proud to have contributed to raising CAS’s profile and making a meaningful impact in our local community. I am proud of the progress we have made and remain full committed to advancing our mission with teamwork, clear vision, and mutual respect.With continued collaboration and commitment, I believe we can build on this momentum and achieve even greater success together.

Professionally, I am a Certified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in corporate roles. I currently work four days a week as a Senior Accounts Manager at an accountancy firm, dedicating every Wednesday to supporting and helping run the Chinese Association. Beyond my professional responsibilities, I actively maintain strong ties with other community groups, the local council, the Chinese school, and various partner organisations, helping to foster collaboration and mutual support.
在專業方面，我是一名擁有超過25年企業工作經驗的特許會計師。目前，我每週在一家會計師事務所擔任高級會計經理，工作四天，並特別將每個星期三全心投入於協助及管理華人協會的事務。
除了專業工作之外，我亦積極與其他社區團體、當地市議會、中文學校及各個合作夥伴機構保持緊密聯繫，促進合作與互相支持。
工作之餘，我喜歡跳舞、唱歌和旅遊。

I have organised numerous events representing the Chinese community, helping to promote Chinese culture and heritage. One of my key strengths lies in event organisation and grant application writing.
Over the years, I have successfully secured various grants and funding for CAS, contributing to its strong financial position. I have helped bringing in valuable opportunities to CAS members like health and well-being related projects, and the Chinese painting exhibition. These initiatives have greatly enhanced CAS’s visibility and reputation within the local community.
我曾籌辦多項代表華人社區的活動，致力於推廣中華文化與傳統。我的其中一項主要強項是活動籌劃與撰寫資助申請書。多年來，我成功為華人協會（CAS）爭取了各項資助與經費，強化了協會的財務基礎。
透過我們廣泛的人脈網絡，我協助為CAS會員帶來了寶貴的機會，例如健康與福祉相關的研究調查，以及中國畫展覽等活動。這些計劃大大提升了CAS在本地社區的能見度與聲譽。
